Dr. Farhad Ehteshamzad, Chairman of the Iran’s Automobile Importers Association (IAIA), said: According to the information received, the government's approval of the new import instructions has been finalized and, in accordance with its provisions, the updating of the list of authorized vehicles for import is underway by combining the effective factors such as Iran National Standards Organization permits, environmental standards, technical committee and provisions of the new guidelines.   The IAIA’s predicts is that 45 vehicles will be valid at this stage. The official reopening of registration website is subordinated to the official announcement of new import instruction of vehicle by the secretariat of the government to the relevant custodians.
